Lou Sgro of North Brunswick NJ. started bracket racing his 1964 Plymouth Sport Fury in April of 1990. The 440 powered 3200 pound Plymouth went10.83@122mph

A 186" front engine dragster was built for 1995 using the engine and transmission from the Fury. Hilborn fuel injection was added, and with a mixture of alcohol and 40% nitromethane the car went 8.03@163mph.

Lou attended Frank Hawley's Drag Racing School August of 1996, and obtained alcohol funny car license. Bought 1971 Challenger funny car October of 1997. Crewed for Frank Manzo's alcohol funny car 1998 and 1999.
